Charles E. Williams is a CPA and financial advisor. Charles graduated from The Ohio State University in 1972 with a degree in Accounting, and opened Charles E. Williams and Associates (now CE Williams Financial) in 1972.
He has been, and continues to be, very involved in the local community. Charles served as the Johnstown Clerk and Treasurer for 21 years, and also worked as the Clerk and Treasurer in Pataskala. He was the Mayor of Johnstown from 1978-1979. He was on the Licking County Planning Board for 25 years. He has also served on the Licking County Economic Planning Board, as well as the Aging Board. His work with the local Lions Club has included serving as the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Charles has been a member of Johnstown Independent Baptist church since co-founding it 50 years ago. His roles within the church community have included Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, trustee, and deacon.
Mr. Williams is an avid sports fan. In addition to cheering for the Buckeyes, he worked as a basketball and football official, and a baseball umpire and coach for decades.
Charles and his wife, Norma, have been residents of Johnstown since they wed in 1959. They live in Johnstown, Ohio, and have two children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
